The Scenario:
So you just upgraded your Magento store to the latest version as of now – 1.3.1. Everything seems to be running smoothe besides one thing: you try searching for a product and it doesn’t show up! You know the product is there because you can see it with your own eyes, it just doesn’t show up when you search for it. Simple fix: you need to ‘rebuild’ your search index.
How to fix it:
1. Log in to your Magento admin.
2. Go to System.
3. Go to Cache Management.
4. Find ‘Search Index’ under the Catalog title.
5. Click ‘Rebuild’
Problem solved.
